We already know the new Poco M4 Pro from Xiaomi, a smartphone that falls within the economic mid-range, and that offers convincing performance in the range of 200 euros. This fourth model of the Poco M family provides a new screen with an AMOLED panel and a 64 MP main camera.
The M4 Pro arrives as a younger brother of the Poco X4 Pro 5G, and to a certain extent competing with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 from the manufacturer itself. The Poco M4 Pro mounts a 6.43 FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate, which goes up to 180 Hz in touch sampling. It covers 100% of the DCI-P3 colour space, its peak brightness is 1,000 nits and it is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.
Inside we find a MediaTek Helio G96 chip with 4G connectivity (not 5G), 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage. Other interesting features are the IP53 splash resistance and the double speaker, instead, the fingerprint reader goes on one side, instead of under the screen.
The 5,000 mAh battery supports fast charging 33 W, which means reaching 100% in 61 min. As usual in Xiaomi, a 33 W charger is included in the box of the Poco M4 Pro.
The operating system is Android 11 with the MIUI 13 for the Poco layer, that is, a variant of MIUI 13 used by Xiaomi mobiles.

The Poco M4 Pro 2 arrives in Europe from March 2, 2022, available in asphalt black, neon blue and Poco yellow colours. These are the two available variants and their prices:

8 GB + 256 GB for 269 euros (launch for 249 euros).
The 8 GB + 256 GB model will offer Xiaomi's traditional "early bird", a lower price from March 2 to March 4, 2022, at 1:00 p.m.
It cannot be denied that the Poco M4 Pro is a cheap and competitive mobile for its hardware, located in a price range that concentrates many sales in Europe. If we add to that its casual design and focus on the young public, it may be one of the Xiaomi phones that are best received in the first half of 2022.
